Art and Culture in Indonesia is a nation's wealth. That the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from the tip of Sabang to Merauke consists of thousands of islands. This condition makes Indonesia a very exotic country.

Its position, which is located on the equator, is very beneficial for the entire nation. Of course this makes the entire archipelago in this archipelago like heaven on earth. Its wealth and natural beauty is second to none in the world.

And what is not less is the variety of cultural and artistic customs. Of course, only Indonesia has it. This shows that from all aspects it is very supportive so that Indonesia is dubbed the paradise of the world.

Anyone will be amazed and want to enjoy the full potential of the natural arts, culture and customs that exist. Moreover, foreign nationals must be curious about the potential of nature, art and culture in Indonesia.

Indonesia will be a priority for them to travel. Of course this will be a very profitable opportunity in all fields. Both advantages from economic aspects and other aspects.

This can be seen from the arrival of foreign tourists to Indonesia. Certainly economically it will increase income for the State and all existing elements. The arrival of foreign tourists is still quite a significant increase from year to year.

Indonesia's potential is in its natural wealth and beauty, human resources and no less important is its cultural arts and customs. Cultural arts and customs are an ancestral heritage that is second to none.

The arts and culture in Indonesia are in the form of very specific customs that characterize a region. This can be in the form of regional specific rituals or ceremonies, dances, songs, plays, paintings, carvings and other forms of art.

The diversity of arts and culture exists throughout the region from Sabang to Merauke. Of course, the wealth of this nation will surely provoke the envy of other nations. Several times other countries claim some of the peculiarities of the State of Indonesia.

Some of our arts have been claimed as belonging to other countries. This cannot be taken lightly. Don't let our dignity be humiliated by other countries who just casually claim what is not their right. The role and concern of all elements of this nation is very much needed to overcome and overcome this.

It is clear that the Government must act decisively on this incident, diplomatic efforts need to be put forward to resolve and protect the theft of this nation's wealth. There should be no more cases of our cultural wealth being stolen by other countries.

From several times the claims of other countries on the wealth of this nation in the form of Indonesian specific art may be because the government is careless. The government pays little attention to the potential of existing cultural arts. This is very much different from what other countries have done, countries that are already very developed still care about the artistic and cultural heritage of their ancestors.

In an era of sophistication as it is today, it seems as if everything has no boundaries, both time and distance. If it's just interacting then time and distance are not obstacles. For example, we want to know or communicate with people who are far away or maybe very far from us, even those on the other side of the ocean.

All because of the more advanced and sophisticated means of communication. In this modern era, do we as Indonesian people change? Until you really don't care about our art and culture anymore? On the other hand, our government also does not appreciate the progress of our arts and culture?

Concern for the Advanced Nation on the Arts, Culture and Customs of the Nation.

The arts and culture of the nation are always prioritized in developed countries.

Look at the countries in East Asia which are now the mecca of trends and lifestyles in Indonesia. That is the country of South Korea and its older brother, namely Japan. Progress in all fields does not diminish the spirit of loving art and culture.

From which country did the most sophisticated automotive come from, where did the electronic equipment and telecommunication facilities come from. Surely the answer is coming from these two countries. There is no need to compare the progress of these countries with our beloved country, Indonesia.

Whether we admit it or not, our country is far behind those countries. Okay, in Indonesia recently, there is a boom in producing four-wheeled vehicles. There are several domestic automotive industries that are aggressively producing national cars.

But are the results visible? Until this moment, perhaps on the highway, there is no car that should be the pride of this nation. That is a picture of the existing reality, which means that we are still very far behind other countries.

A small picture of how the two countries are progressing, one of which is in the automotive sector. Of course, this does not mean that other fields are no less advanced. Other fields are also more advanced. Observe the fields of telecommunications technology, transportation, education, military and so on are definitely no less advanced.

The two countries are amazing indeed! Of course, it will be even more extraordinary if we know that the two countries are still committed and loyal to the customs, arts, culture and customs of their ancestral heritage.

Do you believe that countries that are already very developed are still concerned with the customs and culture of their people? You all have to believe, because it is.

Look at the Japanese. In their country they can still see the original buildings and architecture typical of their country, clothing and so on. Likewise in the arts in the form of dance dances. Maybe also a very famous culture is Sumo.

In Japan, it still survives and is sustainable, even though Sumo has become global. In addition, there is also the most visible, namely the habit of Japanese people when meeting other people. Anyone will always salute by bowing.

Indiscriminately. Officials or commoners in this very advanced and sophisticated era, they do not hesitate to salute by bowing their bodies. That is a form of concern for those who are very advanced and still care about the preservation of the customs and culture of their nation.

By looking at the above, it can be concluded here that the progress of a nation's arts and culture is a determinant of whether or not the nation is progressing. Surely you all agree!

Efforts to Preserve Indonesian Arts and Culture

The progress of a nation's civilization is greatly influenced by the progress or decline of the arts, culture and customs of the nation itself. So it is an obligation for every human being in this beloved country of Indonesia to be part of the preservation of arts and culture in Indonesia.

If all elements of this nation take part in efforts to preserve the wealth of this nation, Indonesia will certainly be stronger and more advanced. The concern and loyalty of all elements of the nation must be instilled as early as possible.

From the earliest education a child must be introduced to the arts and culture of the nation. So that the love for the nation's arts and culture will be embedded in every child throughout this country.

The concrete effort is to add a portion of cultural arts education, both theory and practice at all levels of education in Indonesia. Let's preserve!
